Rate this book
Pp. ix, (1), 270; 36 plates (18 are in full color), numerous text-figures. Publisher's original green cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine, color pictorial dust jacket, lg 8vo (10.8 x 8.75 inches). The Limacodidae or Euclidae is a family of moths in the superfamily Zygaenoidea or the Cossoidea; the placement is in dispute. They are often called slug moths because their caterpillars bear a distinct resemblance to slugs. They are also called cup moths because of the shape of their cocoons (from Wiki). No ownership marks and no signs of use.
