About the author

I grew up in Sydney, attending Sydney Boys' High School and then going on to Sydney University. I also studied at Melbourne University, before returning to Sydney in 1988. I worked at the Art Gallery of New South Wales and for a time at a commercial gallery in Sydney. I then did a graduate diploma in archives and returned to the Art Gallery of New South Wales as its archivist. During this time I also completed an M.Theol.
