The lack of names for the characters made it very confusing and I got very lost. However, it's very relatable and funny! I would totally read it again.

A charming little play from the man who helped bring us INTO THE WOODS and PASSION, this early work by Lapine is the prototypical American domestic comedy, but with the gimmick of centering around night after night at the dinner table. What saves it from cliche is Lapine's affectionate love for each of his characters and their classic American suburban dis-function. The kind of show a good community theater can do much with and make into an enjoyable evening.
