Autobiography. Kerena Marchant has been deaf since infancy. This book tells of her life with a Jack Russell terrier "Skipper" - one of the earliest dogs to be trained in a scheme to help deaf people to live independently.
Marchant was also the first person to type simultaneous subtitled text for the BBC. This proved to be a daring and sometimes hilarious venture in the early days.
