Luke read this one without me. He enjoyed the pictures of animals and reading about them.

This book is another picture book that is very descriptive of animals. One of children's favorite topics is animals so why not teach off of their idea of what is cool. I would use this is an elementary class but for a slightly higher reader.

I would have rated this 4 stars but why does it have to help perpetuate the koala as a teddy bear myth. Any time the words koala and bear are mentioned together it just helps people hold onto an incorrect assumption.
I did like the inclusion of animals from temperate forests across the globe.
