When the author includes "workbook" in the title, it actually MEANS this is a workbook. This book does a good job of covering the basics of color theory using the Red/Yellow/Blue artist's color wheel, and explaining how those basics pertain to working with colored and printed fabrics.

The exercises in the book are solid basics followed by art students in beginning classes, except this workbook translates those lessons into working with your own fabric stash. A good book for anyone who wants to learn more or look deeper into how color theory can be applied to quilting with your own stash of fabrics.
