This book is a wonderful introduction to virtual reality technology. The content focuses on the U.S. development of the field, and the authors did a fantastic job on covering software, hardware, and application topics. While a good amount of product information from software and hardware suppliers was present, it would've been great if more depth had been given to the limitations and human factors issues of the different components. Overall, an easy and informative read; I'd like to keep a copy handy for reference purposes.
