Parts of it are so good! But despite process research becoming unpopular in the era of RCTs, still much of what's in it is superseded by later research, and its difficult to figure out which parts, so not as useful as a general overview as it might once have been. What's left is his original ideas and spin on synthesising then-extant research. A near-classic, I'd say.
