Rate this book
This new three-book series on childhood development is adapted from an authoritative, recently updated early childhood education textbook. Teachers and caregivers of children ages birth to five years old will find practical, easy-to-understand guidance for enhancing their skills in supporting children’s physical, psychosocial, and cognitive development. The books include tables showing developmental milestones and stages, a discussion of the role of the caregiver in each developmental domain, and vignettes of families with children representing developmental challenges and successes.

This is mostly intended as a very brief overview of child development for early childhood educators, rather than for parents. Better off with something like Frank Caplan's book or "What to Expect the First Year."
