My first Gunsmith book and it got me hooked. Quick-Draw action, romance, and some surprising supporting characters. Clint is no shoot-first think-afterwards western hero, but a thoughtful protagonist with a simple yet oddly complex view of the world he rides, works, and indeed kills in.
