Whew, this was a good one.

A lot is learned about Clint and his past.

There are a few mysteries that take a while to figure out but the ending is extremely satisfying.

On the cover of these books is Clint Adams. On the later editions he has a scar. You learn in this book where he got that scar.

You learn a little about Clint as a law man and where.

You see a life changing event that made him who he is today.

I really want to see what happens to the community after he left but that's just one of those things you don't get to come back and visit. Part of these stories is just letting go of people, places and things and moving on to the next adventure.

I read this book way back when it was originally published and remembered liking it. Now, reading all these years later, I still think this is a very good book. It has great characters, lots of action, fast paced and it's very well written. I highly recommend this book.
