Very elementary. Useful at the least for the story starter section. Helped me here with germinating seeds of stories

Read this to get ready to teach the short story to my creative writing class. We are starting a month long unit on the short story and some of the information from this book will find its way into the unit. I did like the way she thought about the writing process and the emphasis she put on plot. I would have liked more information on character.
