Customs discovered a severed hand in Candida's hatbox. This is only the first in a series of incidents that plunge Candida into a nightmare where she is forced to confront the indisputable evidence of murder.

Try this book from 1972...it has a fashion shoot in Paris for a setting and a model who's being bedeviled by severed body parts anonymously placed in her luggage..
It's good and at 162 pages a zippy read.
