Another great read from Rebecca Rohman
I was hooked from the first chapter and she kept me guessing until the end...one of these days I guess correctly as to whom the baddie is
I love when other characters from the series pop in, it’s nice to see what they are up to...and Jade is still my fav

One More Chance at Love is another great read by Rebecca. I always say more people should read her books. I love them because they always have some suspense and mystery in addition to romance.
One More Chance at Love hooked me in and I kept turning the pages. The characters have intense chemistry as well as all the mystery and suspense. I never know what’s going to happen in Rebecca’s books! They keep me on the edge of my seat.
One More Chance at Love is an emotional story that is well written, detailed, and descriptive. It’s multi layered and such a fun read!! Give it a chance and go one click!

When I started to read this book, I thought I wouldn't like heroine Sicora. Because of something she did when she was young but I changed my mind soon enough. What she went throught is something what should never happen to anyone. I'm so happy that Sicora and Bobby got their second chance after all those years they spent apart from each other. I had my own idea about who was targeting Sicora but I was wrong but close.

This book had me from the start I couldn't put it down. The suspense was killing me. The romantic and intimate parts wow. One of the best books I've read in a long time.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "ONE MORE CHANCE AT LOVE" WOW! This is one rollercoaster ride hold on to your seat its full of, mystery, heartache, grief, lost love, tragedy, rape, intrigue, suspense, murder, traumatic devastating experiences, danger, twists you don't even see coming.
Bobby McLean and Sicora Clarke were teenage sweethearts they had their future all planned he'd go to University and she'd follow but she broke things off no explanation he was so devasted she suffered a very traumatic experience the night she went to see him one last time before he left.
Thirty years later they run into one another in their home town she was cold her mom had passed away he was there to close up his home his wife Val and 2yr old daughter Cassie had been dead for a year after a terrible accident still grieving with the help of his sister Jada and her husband Jonathan.
Sicora be became a travel writer it was her dream job she went all over the world Bobby became a lawyer her ex Vince proposed to her and she refused and Bobby overheard the conversation he turn brutal and tried to rape her when he stepped in embarrassed Sicora ran off.
Sicora finds herself in danger where her BF Elena Price is murdered in her apartment mistaken for Sicora she was the target devastated by what happened and needs protection she moves to San Francisco with Bobby til they find the killer who might be Vincent he's been leaving get threatening messages.

As this story is on the longer side, I didn't feel the length of it. From page 1 to last it is the story that builds, you need the background to pull those emotions and the connection between Bobby and Sicora out.
Bobby and Sicora are what every teenager in love is all about, each other, making plans for the future. But one indirect change changes their paths dramatically in a blink of an eye. Choices are made and paths are rerouted and life goes one.
Thirty years later Bobby and Sicora cross paths once again in one moment that can alter anyone's life again!! But wanting answers of why, and instant feeling that you have not felt in years come back strong and the desire to not let again can be hard to handle.

Bobby! Bobby! Bobby! I have been waiting for his book since I read my first title from Rebecca Rohman. And One More Chance at Love was worth the wait.
I liked that both Sicora and Bobby had lived life. Thrived. Loved. Experienced pain and loss. And when a very unexpected twist of fate puts them back into each others orbit after decades apart, it was the second chance that they never knew they wanted.
But not everybody was happy. In fact, Sicora was in very real danger. It brought out all of Bobby's protective instincts. He needed her safe and pulled out all the stops to make it happen.
I liked that while they were on alert, they let their guards down with each other. Shared the pain of their past. Let some of their anguish go. Healed.
There is no one who writes romantic suspense like Rebecca Rohman. It is thoughtful. Well thought out. Cultured. Twisted. And, as usual, I couldn't figure out who was behind all the danger and mayhem. When all was revealed, I was in shock just as much as Bobby and Sicora. But that ending...sigh! Their second-chance was thirty years in the making and I am so glad they got it.

This story was a hooker that's for sure. The words just came off the pages like nothing before. I loved it. Rebecca really outdid her self with this story. The attention to details on every page had me hooked like a fish to a hook lol. I was that into the story. The way she ties all the characters together from past stories makes it come to life even more. I really felt for the main characters Bobby and Sicora both had a happy past that turned into a not so bright present that had one emotion after the other. the way everything was explained with how each one was feeling and thinking was out of this world great. This is for sure one story that takes you on a ride for your life with the romance, thrill, emotions you name it. MUST READ, I do have to say you don't need to read the other stories but if you do def want to read Jada and Jonathan's story just to know who they are in this story. The events and locations had me dreaming of all types of vacations and wishing I was actually in that spot at that moment. Its a really phenomenal read.

February 25, 2020I received an ARC of this book. I absolutely love this series. Rebecca's newest One More Chance at Love was a real nail biter....the suspense right up until the end. I am saying to myself if this doesn't end right I am not going to be happy. Rebecca has a way of describing places in such a way that you feel like you are there. Several years ago I took my grandchildren on a trip up Hwy 1 to San Francisco....and she took me on the same ride thru Cannery Row, Monterey and Carmel. The love story between Bobby and Sicora is perfect. Excellent series to read.

Everything about this book is wonderful! The details are so wonderfully written and descriptive I could visualize it so clearly. The adventures, the love, the danger, the second chance. Amazing! If you love Romance, mystery, adventure, suspense then this is a must read! 5 stars!

My heart is bursting with the amazing journey Sicora and Bobby took me on. These two met as kids and found a pure and wonderous love. As they neared graduation, they had a plan, sharing their hopes and dreams for beautiful life together. Then one fateful night, everything shatters for Sicora and she pushes the one person she loves away as she works to protect herself and rebuild her spirit. Thirty years later, they have a chance meeting that brings them back together but life has battered each of them. Bobby is coping with the loss of his wife and daughter, while Sicora continues to cope with the nightmares from the night that changed it all. As they work to rebuild a friendship, Sicora’s life is threatened putting Bobby in protector mode which is a great excuse for Sicora to stay with him in San Francisco until they solve the mystery. I love how the love they shared never died but they still needed to take time to reconnect and learn about each other again. Sicora being able to share her passion for travel with Bobby was a joy to experience while it gave Bobby a new perspective, helping him cope with his grief. The passion they have for each other is electric. This story delivered all the emotion as their love grew and the mystery deepened. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Who else was thinking can Sicora catch a break. I love this authors work and am willing to lose sleep, but I must say her books needs to be turned into movies they are so good. From the beginning to the end each character and story has you wanting more. This book touched on some serious
topics that had me on tears. You will need a box of tissue for this as you will feel like you are experiencing all that Brian and Sicora face. My best phrase from the book is "Justice delayed is not justice denied".

Wow, what can I say, this is a long powerful book but every page is relevant, another riveting story by Rebecca Rohman.
Bobby McClean and Sicora Clark had been madly in love and their futures planned since she was fifteen and he was sixteen years old, The plan was for Bobby to go to university and Sicorra would join him the following year. Bobby was left bereft and brokenhearted when, out of the blue, Sicora finished with him with no explanation the day before he was due to leave.
Time passed and Bobby went on to be a successful lawyer and Sicora a travel writer.
Thirty years later they had a chance meeting on the island where they were both raised, Sicora was cold towards Bobby, she had suffered an unbelievably traumatic experience that had taken her to the edge of suicide. Bobby had not escaped having had great tragedy in his life.
When Sicoras best friend is murdered in Sicoras apartment it quickly became apparent that the bullet was meant for her.
Sicora's life is in grave danger but why ? Bobby is determined to keep her safe despite her objections.
This story is an emotional roller coaster interspersed with stunning scenery and undeniable love, the chemistry between Bobby and Sicora is palpable.
As Bobby fights to keep Sicora safe through the numerous attempts at her life they fall deeper in love but Secora still keeps him at arms length, why has she built a barrier around her heart ? what can he do to gain her trust ?.
This book is a real page turner that I couldn't put down, so much content, the author's graphic description of the places they went on their travels gave me the feeling of being there with them. Although by the end of this book I was an emotional wreck, I thoroughly enjoyed it, a well deserved five stars.

This story had me from the off and as it unfolds you just want to keep reading.

This Second Chance love story is a real mix of emotions! It spans three decades from young teenage first everything's to heartbreak and devastation to second and even third chances! These two young lovers have been through the wringer and still, when they reconnect, have danger and healing to get through. But this time they are together and it is heartwarming to see them communicate and help each other mend as they navigate their feelings and trust amid the chaos and confusion that become their lives. You will be trying to figure out who is after who as you travel the world with them, visualizing the beautiful scenery so eloquently portrayed.
Rebecca Rohman always writes wonderfully entertaining books and I enjoyed this one, glad to find our couple get their HEA, even if it was 30 years later. So settle down in a comfy chair and immerse yourself in this rollercoaster ride of a book!

Sicora and Bobby had a future planned together until Sicora ghosted from his life for no apparent reason. When a chance encounter brings them back into each other's life, the chemistry is still there but so much has happened and both are carrying so much from their past that it may prevent them from having a future. Not only do they have the issues from their past to contend with but someone seems determined to want her dead.
This book crossed countries and continents as we get to experience some breathtaking scenery in multiple countries due to Sicora's job as a travel writer. I have to say that this was probably Rebecca Rohman's most ambitious book to date but it was superbly done. All the hallmarks of what makes her a fantastic writer were all present and more. I have to say that this was probably Rebecca Rohman's most ambitious book to date but it was superbly done. All the hallmarks of what makes her a fantastic writer were all present and more. This had me hooked from page one and kept me engrossed til the very last word. I sat and read this in one sitting as I did not want to put it down as I was completely invested in Sicora and Bobby's journey. There was so much to like about both of these two that you can't help but fall in love with and want them to end up with their HEA. Rebecca Rohman has hit this one out of the park and reminded me why she is one of my top authors.

Intense, heartbreaking, suspenseful

Bobby and Sicora meet up after almost 30 years. Sicora's secret is revealed fairly early on and it is devastating. This was not an easy read for me as it was a bit disturbing.
The setting on the island and the photos included in the ebook were lovely. There is travel back to the USA where Sicora is still being followed. The action is continuous, heightening the suspense as to why she is being stalked and by whom.
There is Vince, her ex, who is acting strange and somewhat violent. Bobby is shocked by some betrayals. And the situation that started so many years ago fends real and pertinent today.
Bobby and Sicora click into their attraction all over again. They sizzle and steam up the pages, but the romance is allowed to build and flow too.
It was nice to have Jada and Jonathan as side characters.
As the final twist was revealed (I did guess it), it brought one last gasp of tension. Part thriller, sexy romance, and a second chance at love.

This is a second chance romance that took 30 years! I love Sicora and Bobby's story. They have a love that was tested and tested some more. They have a love that truly stays through time. They went a lot of places and because of the author's vision we enjoyed all the places they went. Excellent descriptions. Their story had mystery, intrigue, danger, bad guys, murder and attempted murder. The book is well written. The characters are well developed. I give it 5 stars and a strong recommendation.

One More Chance At Love - Is one of the best books to date I have read by Rebecca Rohman
The opening chapter is extremely powerful and so well written that it will leave you wanting to switch off from the world and continue reading every page and chapter that follows.
All of your emotions will be drawn out, some scenes are heart-breaking but have been expertly written and add to the journey of Sicora & Bobby's story. You will also find yourself laughing at various scenes, the humour this author as added comes at the right times within the story.
The sexual chemistry and love scenes are sizzling, the passion between them seeps through the pages of the book.
Of course with every Rebecca Rohman book, the drama, twists and unexpected villains is not any you will see coming.
Highly recommended for lovers of Second chance romance with a thrilling storyline.

I enjoyed reading One More Chance At Love. It was an incredibly emotional and outstanding experience/journey. This one definitely had me on the edge of my seat while I rooted and prayed for some of the characters and others I detested so much that I hoped they fell into a deep dark hole never to be seen again. Be prepared to be put through the ringer with this one. Love, laughter, hate, hurt, you name it you are going to feel it, but it's well worth it. Haha! Loved it!! I very highly recommend reading this book! Grab some tissues... you're going to need them. I hope you enjoy One More Chance At Love as much as I have.

I really enjoyed reading One more chance at love!!!! It was a emotional rollar coaster ride and really unexpected journey!!! Rebecca Rohman has a way of describing a place so vividly you feel like you are there!! I can't wait to read more!!!!

One More Chance at Love by Rebecca Rohman is a wonderfully written second chance romance story. As always with Rebecca, be prepared for a beautifully described adventure with steamy love scenes, a mystery, so much suspense, and last but not least a love affair with a happily ever after.
