Twisted Addiction by G. C. Whitewood is a wonderfully written and richly descriptive novel with brilliantly drawn characters. The author weaves a well-crafted erotic psychological thriller with intriguing twists and turns that will captivate the reader from the first page to the last. Skillfully constructed, the story is structured around the sex slave industry and the manipulation of a young female. Although a work of fiction, it leaves the reader with more than just a well told story.

Now, if that’s not enough to get your curiosity juices flowing, I don’t know what will. But if you want to find out what happens, you’ll just have to turn the pages for yourself! However, I will say it was well worth the read. It’s my first time reading this author and I must say I was very impressed.
The story had every element a good story should have. A solid plot, attention to detail, but best of all fleshed out, well-written and well-rounded character development. There’s an abundance of well-illustrated scenes that make you feel like you are right there in the story, and that’s something I really look for in a good book.
I enjoyed the story, character development, and dialogue. There were plenty of plot twists that I didn’t see coming and that added to the book’s mystique. When I stopped reading to work, I found myself wondering what happened in the book, and replaying parts of the novel in my head to see if I could figure more out. It has been a while since I enjoyed a book this much.
This was a fascinating and captivating read that had me immersed from the beginning. The story flowed from scene to scene with ease, and the author shows exceptional ability when it comes to storytelling. There are plenty of attention-grabbing moments in this page turner that will take the reader on a truly mesmerizing journey. Five stars.

This is a powerful story, one where the excerpt does not really describe what this story is all about. Dalia is due for a change and when she meet Thomas, she sense that this is it. She is dazzled by him and soon she will become his sex slave. The story is dark and will not be to everybody's liking. I honestly volunteered to review this story.

this was interesting and a thriller for me.. it was fast paced and made me curious.. i kept wondering what was going to happen next.. i enjoyed it a lot. i like when books keep me interested and are well written.

This is the first time in coming across this author. Since I do go for alot to dive in romantic suspense this caught my attention. The characters have their story to tell that will not be what you expected if you had any at all. Dalia and Thomas will unwind a dark one that will have you going what is really going on? You want to do something because you really do not like Thomas the snake he is. But there will be a trickle of light to the dark with the person of Noah. As things go in a different direction you begin to scratch your head and wonder what did I just read?

Whitewood offers no biographical information except to offer a few moments of insight, such as ‘The entire world is driven by passion, faith, power, money and fear.’ TWISTED ADDICTION appears to be a debut novel, and the writing is excellent, suggesting we will be seeing more of this new author in the future!
The theme of the book is the realm of BDSM (bondage discipline sadomasochism) – a topic that seems to be finding a larger audience these days, perhaps as a means to escape this world and visit a forbidden arena! Whitewood’s impressive prose is apparent in the keen manner in which the story opens: ‘When Dalia saw Thomas for the first time, she thought the man was simply dazzling! In truth, that wasn’t an especially difficult feat. Neither against the backdrop of where they had met (the corridors of E.G.G., an ordinary advertising agency where Dalia served as account director, lacking any of the glamour one would expect from a firm in their business, where even the halls had been done in lackluster gray plaster), nor against the backdrop of her current life (a job that was not fulfilling, and never had been, a shaky relationship, the approaching holidays, which, unless she cold make her relationship stop sputtering, she would be celebrating alone). The main characters are visually and sensually present in Whitewood’s fine prose, making this much more than a Chick Lit novel: this is a polished and very skillfully hewn tale of erotica from a different stance. It works very well indeed.

First, I want to thank G.C Whitewood for providing me this book so I may bring you this review.
I am an extremely openminded reader but even I had issues reading G.C. Whitewood’s Twisted Addiction. I admit that I do enjoy reading books on the risqué side like BDSM, Erotica, etc. The author in her message asked if this was a super sexy book. She also asked if it was written to arouse you? Well this book did just the opposite G.C. Whitewood-it made me sick! How is anyone to get aroused over a man who drugs a girl and kidnaps her, tells her they are married, keeps her in seclusion from her past life, uses BDSM on her hardcore (this is no 50 Shades of Grey stuff), abuses her, videos her against her knowledge and puts it on the Darknet website for sick freaks to watch for money, takes her to the woods to tie her to the tree half naked with a blind fold in the middle of the woods, etc.
Books like this really need trigger warnings for their readers. I would never think by the title or the cover (which was done very nicely) that this book would have so much evil it. This book has kidnapping, continuous rape, violence, obsession, pornography without consent filming and distributed, etc.
My heart went out to Dalia in all of this! To be used and abused from this man for so many years with no identity of your own! I wanted to give her a big huge hug! I kept thinking how does one recover emotionally, mentally and physically from this.
There were aspects of the story that I did like however. I liked that Noah stepped in wondering where his friend went to and went to the police. So, there was an investigation going on to find out where the two of them went.
This book is not for everyone-me included. I won’t be reviewing for this author again.

Okay first off being as opened minded as I am about stuff. Even I was a bit put off in this book. Hence, why it took me forever to finish said book. Some parts were normal and others I was put off by the fear being used as consent. Makes you also think could this really happen...which I'd probably have to say yes. Because of all the things you hear on the news. Well any hoo.
