Great biography of Western Legend .

Well written and easy to follow. The author made Heck Thomas come alive ; then you realize he was a bigger than life WesternHero!

Great Oklahoma Hweo

Well researched and wonderfully written account of a great lawman. Would recommend to everyone interested in history of the old west.

Interesting book about the wild first days in the west between the civil war and 1900. When they opened up the Oklahoma territories for settlement, I didn’t realize how chaotic it was. Has some neat stories about tracking down outlaws and train and bank robberies.
