Good quick read about Keith Magnuson a Chicago Blackhawk defenseman from the late 60s through 70’s. This book was written when he was about 3 years into his career. Lots of interesting stories of him growing up in Saskatchewan, attending Denver University in the 60’s, and his Blackhawk teammates. He was a hockey ‘hit man’, his term, and discusses his role on the various teams. He references his forgetfulness, having to make notes to remind himself, falling asleep in traffic etc….all which could be symptoms of what we know today as CTE. Good solid read and recommend for hockey fans.
