Juliet and Michael have it all--two beautiful girls, a dream house, luxury cars--the perfect life. So how could Juliet be so discontent? Can God heal the crushing pain of rejection? Can He really restore a doomed marriage? This powerful fiction story portrays a seemingly doomed marriage and the miraculous restoration possible through God's intervention. Guaranteed fiction
Juliet's husband hasn't been there for her for a long time. Even when he was there physically, he wasn't really there. She tried different ways to get them to connect once again but he was always too tired or too busy. I read something similar not long ago however this one is more believable. Juliet's concerns in this one are real. You could sense her frustration. The reader not only gets to see Juliet's struggles but also those things her husband was dealing with. I'll give it a 4 star. I'm okay with that.
I love this book! I read it right after it was published when I was a high school senior, and, 11 years later, I still fondly remember this story. Such a touching story of the Grace of God and how His love can restore us when we might believe love has been lost. I mostly read historical fiction, but I'm glad I didn't pass up this one!
I'm so excited that my mom's book is on goodreads! I thought the story was well put together. It made me cry! It could be better, but for my mother's first book, she did well. :) enjoy!
