A fantastic play by Enright! Although inspired by a murder in 1989, and set in the early 90s, the play discusses issues still relevant today. The dialogues are simple, but with lasting impact. I enjoyed reading 'A property of the clan', albeit it left me distressed and unproductive for hours afterwards.
It was alright. Themes of death and grief are present. The language used was some slang and some proper English to distinguish between the characters and to develop their identities.
