So far, this is an excellent, excellent book on commercial real estate investing.

Lindahl does a great job covering some of the most important aspects of getting started in commercial real estate with some real good tips and advice. A sound book. I would recommend that EVERYONE that has an interest in commercial real estate get this book.

Without question, the best book on commercial real estate investing, with respect to 'income producing property' that I have read in 2008. It'll be the best $25.00 investment if you are REALLY serious about getting into commercial real estate.

Start with 36 things you need to know about Cashflow by Gianelli. It'll lay out the line items for you for a property. Then as Lindahl discusses it in this book, things will make a lot more intuitive sense. Sadly, since the cashflow is about a dry topic, it may be a little slower to plow through.

A great book overall. Some commentary about where the market has been, where its heading and how to read the market now in more detail would help out a lot more. But for an intro book, two thumbs up.

I have been a professional real estate agent for 12 years, and I can say that this book is not only comprehensive, it is still very current for something published 10 years ago. This book covers everything any new investor will need to know to get started on finding their first property. I really enjoyed reading this, as it revitalized my own investment goals, and gave me a fresh viewpoint and new approaches. An incredible resource.

Good overview, Introduces and describes the process sufficiently to understand, but left with some basic questions on how to get started. I believe this is due to underlying assumptions by the author on experience and knowledge of his audience.

Tacked on the shelf and looking into more basics.
