One of the volumes in Allmark's Great Battles series. This is a handy book that covers not only Yorktown but the action at Gloucester Point. Like the companion volume on Flodden, Kemp provides background on the campaign, the progression of the siege, as well information about the surrender ceremony. There are a couple of very handy maps, a few black and white illustrations, as well as a very useful Order of Battle. The accompanying color illustrations are also very nice. There are plates covering British, American, and French troops, but probably not enough to provide a complete picture of all the troops present at the siege.
