Long one of the most accessible and popular books about astrology, this classic work is again back in print, with a n instructive new Foreword that explains how the author's remarkable keyword systenm for interpreting birth charts can be used even by the novice student of astrological methods. This keyword system is one of the most outstanding interpretive tools introduced in the rapid modernization of astrology that has occurred in the last twenty-five years.
The keyword section on the meaning of each planet in each zodiac sign is the heart of the book and gives tremendous insight into personal (often unconscious!) motivation. This information penetrates so deeply into human psychology that it enables the reader to analyze and understand himself/herself and others in a most striking way. In fact, one would be hard pressed to find a system of psychology that can boast such precision.
This keyword method allows even beginners to start interpretting charts immediately with great accuracy. Using such key concepts—if intelligently applied—is far more accurate, reliable and useful (and far less misleading to beginners!) than the neatly-packaged paragraphs of supposed "insights" into oneself found in most astrology books.
Ronald Carlyle Davison wqas an internationally known and respected authority on virtually every brand of astrology and the editor of England's Astrology magazine for many years.
Originally i thought Davison was the heir to Charles Carter, but in the appendix I learnt that he was of a rival group. That sort of confusion permeates the book -- half the test is landscape and half portait. It's aggravating. Informationally, this is a very good book.
