This shouldn't take anyone long to read. Some quick guidelines - useful to an extent - and then lots of examples (hmm... 175?) of cover letters of a variety of types. That would include some that I wouldn't classify as High-Impact. In fact, the first one given as an example struck me as just the opposite. i expected there to be a note saying "don't do this" but there was no such note. made me scratch my head for a moment and then I moved on. Some of the examples are quite good and give food for thought, but not all. So buyer beware. Overall, the book is a good review (quick) and a source of ideas. I didn't use anything from it directly but it did encourage me to re-think a couple bits of my own.

The section on the Resume Letter was most interesting. i hadn't considered such a thing myself and can immediately see where it has potential. I am wanting to make more direct contact with some potential employers and this could be a good door opener.
