Anne Butler Morrell (1939–), who also published under the names "Anne Butler" and "Anne Morrell," was a Professor of Embroidery and Textiles at Manchester Metropolitan University 1968–1993, and was the first person to hold that position. She was a consultant at The Calico Museum of Textiles in Ahmedabad, India, from 1994-2019.
