This is just the book I needed! I am in the midst of writing a book about the mysteries, legends, and lore of New Brunswick, NJ. The first chapter goes back to the Lenni Lenape and while I was able to cobble together a piecemeal account of their beliefs about ghosts and some of their monstrous legendary creatures, this book has everything all at once. Plus, it's a reputable source that names the Natives who provided the insights, as well as historic accounts that support the claims. Fantastic!
