Proceedings of an International Conference on Mitigation of Heat Exchanger Fouling and Its Economic and Environmental Implications: Held at the Banff ... Banff, Alberta, Canada, July 1999
Fifty-two papers from the July 1999 conference in Banff, Canada represent the recent work of scientists and engineers concerning the relationship between heat exchanger fouling and the design, operation, maintenance, and cleaning of the equipment. Papers give particular attention to: prediction, assessment, and monitoring; fouling control in water systems, petroleum and organic systems, and surface treatment; cleaning and maintenance; and current research on biofouling and food processing, petroleum processing, particle deposition, and crystallization and scaling. Industrial and environmental implications are emphasized. An abstract is provided for each paper. Graphs, charts, and diagrams are used extensively. Author index only. Annotation c.
