This is a crash course in the geography of Africa. It's geared toward younger readers, but it's a quick, fairly interesting read if you're looking for something basic. There were some things I read about that I already knew, but there was enough new information to keep it interesting.
In this book, you'll go through Africa's land ′deserts, mountains, savannas, rain forests, woodlands, coasts, fault lines, east, west, north, south and central, as well as some of the islands considered to be part of Africa′. You also read briefly about how some of the people in certain areas live in relation to the land and climate. There's a brief section on economy and government as it relates to wildlife and habitat conservation. Overall, there's not a lot of detail about anything, but there's a little bit of information on quite a bit. If you're looking for something in depth, skip this one, but if you want something quick and basic, this is good.
