Turn Toward the Wind: Embracing Change in Your Life

The words come in different ways, but for all of us they come at some point. In just a moment they change our lives forever. Change happens. Sometimes it happens in a moment. Sometimes it happens over years. One day we look in the mirror and see that we are older, that we aren't where we thought we would be, that we aren't who we had dreamed of becoming. For many, change can lead to a crisis of faith. We feel abandoned by God. We wonder where He is when we need Him. We wonder what we did to deserve such pain. Dale Hanson Bourke looks at many different ways to cope with change.

The fact that I took 10 days to read this slim book does not say anything negative about the book. It took that long as I don't have a lot of time to read actual books (versus ebooks). This is also a book that needs to be pondered as you read through it. I am going through changes in my own life right now and this book really confirmed things that I felt were from God. It was encouraging and illuminated certain things in my own life.
