Baru Bay, Australia by Bob Weir (Hyperion Books for Children 1995) (Fiction – Children's). A young girl explores the reef in Australia, and along with several new aboriginal friends, learns about the animals and plants that live in and out of the water and the interrelationship of all of the lives that call the reef home. This is one of two fine children's books written by Bob Weir, guitarist with the legendary rock band the Grateful Dead. My rating: 7.5/10, finished 8/6/15.
