This was an excellent book on development. Development has changed over the years and Cernea, a sociologist in the field, has found that developmnt is works best when the people who the project is intended for actually has a hand in all parts of th project. This book has tons of chapters all dealing with different kinds of development projects. This is a great book for people in the field. It has great applied approach.
