Rich with historical content of the culture Jesus grew up in and was preceded by.
The quests for the "historical Jesus" are briefly surveyed, with special attention given to arguing that Jesus was not affiliated with the Zealots, or any other insurrectionist parties at the time.
Finally, Richardson explores contemporary (at least in the 70s) politics, such as the rising costs of living, cultural flux, and UK issues.
