It's a really good book as an introduction to both feminism and Peace studies. You have to keep in mind with this book is that it was published in the 80s when a lot of language around intersectionality in feminism was beginning to be created. So even though Reardon brings up the critique that women often participate in violent, patriarchal structures, she also often seems to generalize how much women are simply "natural peacemakers". As I said though, putting this book in the context of time when it was written makes a lot of sense, and it is a great introduction to both feminism and peace studies.
