Denny McCune lived for just one thing - revenge ! At the age of sixteen, he saw his Pa killed by a gang of vicious men. He vowed he would get revenge, and he did-- one by one--he gunned the killers down. Acquitted by the court, Denny moved on to another town, hoping to start a new life. But his reputation got there first. Known everywhere as a killer, Denny was trapped in a bitter range war as he helped his cousins defend their ranch. Forced to kill or be killed, Denny wondered how long he could survive as a gunfighter!
Not a terrible read, but nothing really special either. The characters are likable, but not very developed, even by the standards of a western. The conflicts are episodic, and you never get much background on why they're going on. A few of them feel sort of tacked on too. But despite this, it's a fun enough read for fans of a western. Hits the rights notes for the genre and is a pleasant time-killer.
