A great book which I thoroughly enjoyed. Very well researched and so easy to read.
What an interesting person and family. He and his family were generous and vital members of our city. Great pictures.
It was fascinating to learn about Christchurch pre the first 4 ships.
Having grown up in Heaton St, and learning more of the history of the area has spurred more research.
