Reading this made me really want to plan and go on a cruise trip! I liked how the author covered all the different cruise ships, processes you go through and other frequently asked questions. I never knew how many different ships and destinations there are. I wish there had been more about off shore excursions, but it is enough to get started with. My biggest beef with this version was the snooty nature of the author. He really seemed like a cruise snob. Really, is it a big deal to have art displayed and not have information on the history of it, or have sugar in packets instead of ceramic containers? I guess if you have been a tons of cruises it would be, but this is supposed to be "Advice for first-time cruisers." But in all, good overview of cruising.
