Ready for part 2

The title had me thrown off for a minute but I get it. I applaud Mikyla for finally standing up for herself, reclaiming her power and walking into her destiny but I hope she doesn't go too far. Her mother's actions were deplorable and I am well aware that forgiveness is supposed to be for the victim but I wouldn't be too quick to forgive her just yet. Ready for the rest, part 1: was very good.

Whew

A very quick read with a lot of drama rolled in. A budding romance is also in the midst somewhere. I'm so ready to see what the future holds for these characters.

Linette King Did It Again

I enjoyed this book and can't wait until book 2 drops. Linette King, never disappoints me. Mikyla did a lot for her mother and for her mother to stand back and take money to keep quiet about her daughter's rape was disgusting. Like who does that? I don't agree with what mikyla is doing but I hope everything works out for her and I'm glad she has a friend like Cherish that genuinely loves her. I felt bad about Trina getting beat up by Josh but ion feel bad about her getting locked up for burning Devin's house. I'm looking forward to part 2.

I have to say I really enjoyed this story. The characters were developed. The plot was interesting. The supporting cast colorful. It moved rather quickly but held my interest from start to finish. I am very much looking forward to part two.
