Animals at Colonial Williamsburg

Animals were very important in colonial times. They provided wool for clothing, meat and eggs to eat, and feathers for beds. Larger animals pulled plows, wagons, and carriages. When you visit Colonial Williamsburg's Historic Area, you can see animals living the way they did over two hundred years ago.
