Le Sang de la Marne: Septembre 1914

Rate this book
You might think a book in French on the battle of the Marne is nothing exceptional - in this case you would be quite wrong!

What makes this book truly unique is the reproduction of over 35 autochromes or color "photographs" of the First World War, originally produced by Gervais-Courtellemont and published in 1914 and 1915. The pictures are unique and utterly fascinating.
