Dr. Keller shares the story of his mother's apron when he grew up in the 1930's in Strasburg, North Dakota.

Aprons are more than just cloth. They help complete chores, keep clothes clean, and become a part of memories. This was a great book to touch on a little history and a lot of work that mom's do during the year. The art is a mix between colorful illustrations and sketches. It looks to be colored pencil and watercolor.

Theme: Aprons
Additional themes: history, mothers, memories
