This book is almost too detailed. It covers every forest and includes the plants and animals found in each, with specific information on key species and relationships between them and the other animals and plants.

(It is very good, but since I was looking for an overview about the forest biome as a whole I had to pick and choose and weed out the extraneous info to use in our science lesson).
