This is a very complete first year Astronomy textbook. The concepts presented range from basic mechanics of orbital motion on up through relativity and cosmology. They are presented in a manner that makes it possible for first-year students to understand, but in enough depth to be meaningful. The student should have at least some background in classical Physics.
