To Saul Greenbaum and the members of his ultra-secretive Israeli Intelligence unit The Box, Never Forget is more than just a slogan.

It is a promise written in blood.

In 1975 Saul and his team will travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina on a capture or kill mission to find the sons of Adolf Eichmann and stop their Nazi terror cell in its tracks.

As the bodies hit the floor and the mission becomes riskier by the minute, the team will have to strike a bargain with the devil if they want to finish the job and make it home in one piece.

A quick and engaging read that retroactively introduces some of my favorite characters from the Jericho Black universe. After recently reading Nazi Hunters (a nonfiction book about the capture of Eichmann), it was cool to see the story "continue," albeit in a fictional parallel universe.

Mainstays of Vezina's writing are present, such as an attention to detail, fast action scenes, and a perfect tie in to the next book in the series, which is actually the first (or third, depending how you think of it) book. (Side note, the books publish order don't necessarily follow chronological series of events - think the Star Wars releases.)

Definitely worth the read - it will only take you about an hour and it serves as a nice intro to this long running and intriguing series.

I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is a short (approx. 50 pages) novella set about five years before the other books in the Jericho Black series. It sheds some light on the earlier activities of some of the characters in this great series.
The premise of the book is the hunt for the sons of Adolph Eichmann, who was tried as a war criminal at Nuremburg and executed. His sons have been holed up in Argentina trying to establish a new Nazi empire that will eventually take over the US and other Allies from WWII. As usual, Jordan Vezina assembles a first-class read through the use of exceptional research and vivid character development.
This book can be read in about an hour. It works as a stand-alone but should probably be read as the first of the Jericho Black series as an intro.

In this prequel we meet several of the players in many later stories. Alex Rosen already seems a bit of a rule breaking whiner. A man who might leave another behind.

Jacob is a rule breaking super warrior type out for vengeance, very efficiently. Saul Rosenbaum is a leader who can speak to hearts and more to bring results.

With a righteous cause, they do what needs to be done.

I received an advance copy of this book from Booksprout. I read it on Kindle. I have much enjoyed reading most of the books in this series on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.

As a teaser for the series, I found this lacking. The characters all ran together except for the weasel Alex, and I can see him being caught by friendly fire at some point down the road. The simple answer to everything else seemed to be to just simply kill them. Aside from that, not much really happens. Vezina has a nice writing style, but he needs to learn how to build characters that stand apart from each other and how to set a goal for them that draws the reader in. I might give this author another chance because I like his writing style, but this short story didn't work for me.

I have read most of the books as they are released and I am hooked on this series. I love when the author goes back and gives the backstory on some of the characters and the issues. This is absolutely my favorite series at this time. This series has the best, most awesome characters and the most compelling storyline ever! To the fans of Jericho Black and series, we all seem to be addicted! I know I am.

Buenos Aires Black. Jordon Vezina

This is a prequel to The Jericho Black series. An offset of Mossad is a unit called the "BOX." They don't go by the rules of protocol of Mossad. This in itself creates friction for them. Nazi hunters are their primary missions. They are on a operation in Argentina , a all known haven for Nazi party members. An unsuccessful one . They now are in San Francisco to recruit a new member, Will Hessler. Enjoyable and fast paced read.

A great introduction to Jericho Black.

This is a short backstory to some of the characters from the Jericho Black series. The attention to detail, character development, fast-paced action, and the obvious research that has been done makes these books stand out
