Exploring the emotional issues of aging, the seniors editor of NBC's Today Show and the author of The Girls with the Grandmother Faces shares more thoughts, inspirational advice, and stories about making the most of the golden years.
Some good and some boring in this book. I grew tired of reading about all the things she had accomplished. Sounded too much like bragging and got old because there was so much of it. The first third of the book was great and the last third was good. I did not enjoy her poems at all. I am still glad I read the book, don't get me wrong. I think you need to be in you 60's or 70's to enjoy this book. I'm 63 so I fit into the audience.
I so admire this woman going back to school @ 58 after her husband died. At 74 she's doing book tours, speaking on cruise ships and basically owning the life she created by writing about what she knew best - AGING! The quote I liked best from her book - "The least I can do is make my family proud of me"
