There is no way - NO WAY - this book has all these 5 star reviews without them being bought. If they're real, please, people who wrote them, love yourself and read better books.

For a book that was so short, it took me an embarrassingly long time to read purely because every time I opened up my Kindle app to read it, I would read 2 paragraphs, groan at the cringey writing, and close the app. The writing is not good. There are so many spelling and grammar mistakes. It's full of cliches and bad metaphors.

Of course, there's insta-love with a girl who's "not like everyone else" and the perfect mix of adorable and sexy. There's just "something special about her." And the guy? Oh, of course he's the only non-trash guy Winter has ever met in her life (but who says terribly cliche things like "Yeah, I forgot to give you a piece of my mind" in response to "Did you forget something?"). But she has to stay away because of her studies. That doesn't stop her from diving right in with the guy literally 2 pages later. The sex scenes themselves were so bad I was physically cringing at the discomfort I felt.

Reed moves from Boston to a little town to get away from the gold diggers and hustle of the city. This town is so small that the characters can say "the diner" and everyone knows where that is because there's apparently only one diner. Still, Reed has made such great investments that he can live in the area where millionaires live. Apparently they have multiples of those in this tiny town with only one diner.

Know what else they have? The mafia. Who of COURSE start coming after Winter and Reed for getting in the way of a deal with a client. And of course these men are brothers and involved in a meth cooking scheme, but the cops just happen to look past a known drug house.

This book was absolutely ridiculous and just terrible. If it wasn't for a book challenge, I would have stopped reading 3 pages in. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. It doesn't even deserve the 1 star.

Finally disengaging from her mother’s goodbye bear hug at the airport, Winter raced to get through the boarding process. She couldn’t find her passport, the announcement that the flight was boarding getting those behind her a bit upset, then was told the plane was overbooked. But she was given the option of a 5-hour delay for the next flight – but in First Class! Okay! Not so bad! As she walked, she was paying close attention to another announcement when she bumped hard into someone and started to fall backward. Fortunately, strong arms grabbed her and kept her safe. The man looked like a model! Not wanting to lose this chance to chat with him and admire his looks, she asked for his recommendation on chocolate bars. She told him about her studying to become a vet and he commiserated since he was a cardiac surgeon. He paid for her candy, then hurried off – and she forgot to ask his name! Oh well… she head to the gate and sat down to wait for boarding.

Winter fell asleep and woke up with 5 minutes left to board her flight – only it had been moved to the other side of the airport! She took off running and, with annoyed looks from the stewardesses, she made it on board. Settling into her soft, luxurious set, the handsome stranger walked up and scooted into the seat next to her! Reed was so easy to talk to and helped her get her seatbelt fastened. And when the plane started down the runway, he held her hand as if he knew she didn’t like this part of flying.

The dialog and seeing Reed and Winter get to slowly know each other was perfect! Their relationship just flowed naturally as they became comfortable friends then deepened into something more. Each was very attracted to the other, and surprisingly, they shared things in common, such as the sacrifice and dedication needed to become a doctor – of pets or humans. What does the future have to offer them? Will they stay together and look to a more performance relationship? Or will she allow her fears of heartbreak and unreliable men to keep her from giving him a chance? This is a wonderful story line with likable characters. Grab your copy and share their experience to see if it takes them where they want to go.

Winter is a vet student who had been visiting her mother in Florida and is trying to make her way through the airport to catch her flight back to Maine. When Winter finally gets to her gate, she learns that her flight has been overbooked and they offer her a ticket to fly first class so having never flown in first class Winter gladly accepted the offer. As she is walking away to grab a snack, she is accidentally run into by this good-looking guy who she swears must be a model. They instantly fall into casual conversation and he ends up buying her snacks
When take off time arrives who is Winter’s set next to none other than the hot guy she stumbled over earlier. Again, they seem to hit it off, learning they will both be heading to the same town.
Reed finds Winter funny and down to earth and he likes that about her and hopes to possibly get to know her better. Winter is really focused on her school and is determined to become a vet, but she’s not ready for a relationship because of being hurt in the past. She has a hard time trusting that there are any good guys out there.
Reed and Winter’s story is so sweet and how they met was what I liked the most. They have amazing chemistry and the characters really compliment each other and I loved watching their relationship grow and the love for one another get stronger. The story line has drama, some suspense and surprises that will keep you interested from the beginning. I didn’t want to see their story end that’s how much I liked Reed and Winter.

When Winter finally got to the counter to check in for her flight she found out it was over booked. However if she waited five hours she would get an upgrade to first class so she accepted the upgrade and left to go get a snack for her wait. Not paying attention she runs into someone and nearly falls down when someone unexpectedly grabs her to keep her from falling. The sexy stranger ends up buying her candy they chat for a few minutes but he has to go before she can get his name. As if things couldn't get any worse for her she falls asleep and almost misses boarding for her flight altogether. Just as she settles into her seat someone sits next to her and when she looks its none other than the sexy stranger. Reed is surprised to find that the young woman from the airport is sitting next to him on the plane but isn't about to miss the chance to find out more about her. During their flight they connect Reed would like to be involved with Winter but knows that she isn't looking for something like that. So when he learns that she is looking for a room mate situation he tells her that's what he is looking for and makes her any offer. Can Reed convince Winter to give him a chance at her heart?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first page. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I've never read this author before, so I didn't have any expectations. I am usually obsessive about finishing a book, even if I'm not really enjoying it. I was unable to finish this book. I think it mostly had to do with the dialogue:

Villian: “Did you forget something?” he asked as he took a drag and blew a plume of smoke in my direction.
Hero: “Yeah,” I said. “I forgot to give you a piece of my mind.”

This is just one example, but all of them were like this. This man is supposed to be a late twenties/early thirties (?) surgeon, but this is something a grandmother or precocious toddler would say.

Also, the h was sending mixed messages. She refused to go on a date or consider a relationship because she really needs to focus on vet school. However, after a friendly cup of coffee (where she brushed him off), a coincidental meeting in the library (where she brushed him off), and a conversation that might feel like she was opening up, she had SEX with him at a PUBLIC lake close to her job.

A lot of people seemed to enjoy this book so I will say that it just wasn't right for me. I had whiplash and decided that I needed to put it down for my own sanity. I'm sorry to say that this was a 30% DNF for me.

As an independent Veterinary student going back to Maine for the semester, Winter takes a step back in a Florida airport only to fall back and be caught by Dr. Reed Goodman. The handsome surgeon is flying north to start a job at a new hospital. Although she feels the electric chemistry between them, she tells herself their chance meeting, was just that. At least until a change in her flight home bumps her up to first class on a new plane and right into the lap of the beautiful surgeon. The same surgeon who saved her from a cracked skull moments earlier. As they begin to talk, Winter discovers Dr. Reed’s new job is in her hometown.

I loved this story. Winter’s doubts in taking a chance on love after being heartbroken many times before is inspiring. XOXO, Winter is the reason I read and write romances. It allows us dream and manifest the love we crave. You won’t be disappointed. Coincidentally, you can pick up this book in its boxset, Seasonal Love, along with its other two mates, Sincerely Summer and Love, Autumn for 99 cents on Amazon.com until October 1, 2019.

I’m giving this book 4 stars. XOXO, Winter is a fun read for a cool weekend. If you’d like to see my other reviews, follow me on Goodreads or Bookbub.

I absolutely loved this book! It is full of great characters and a wonderful story of finding true love! Reed and Winter meet in an airport gift shop and the journey never ends! He catches her when she trips and when they part ways, she's sorry she never even got his name. Since her first flight was overbooked, she finds herself on another one upgraded to first class and who should be in the seat next to her but Reed! They end up agreeing to meet for coffee the next day and it leads to more. She doesn't want a relationship and he is willing to wait as he thinks she's perfect. They end up as roommates and when she is continually harrassed by a man named Victor, he promises to keep her safe. Unfortunately, Victor causes more trouble and the two eventually find their lives in danger when Victor's brother Monroe gets involved. They manage to come out of the ordeal safely and are able to continue on to their happily ever after. This was such an amazing book and I really enjoyed it from beginning to end!

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I'm completely blown away.
This book is absolutely fantastic and had me captivated and unable to put it down until I'd finished every last word.
I completely fell in love with Winter from the very first page, with how unaware of her surroundings she is that she bumps into people, as I tend to do this quite a lot. And then there's her whole mistrust of men, again totally understand.
I absolutely adore the whole love story between Winter and Reed and the comedy element that's the best friend Iris, everyone needs a best friend just like Iris.
Then there's the whole plot twist that was completely brilliant, and had me wondering what would happen to the happy couple.
This book is really well written and I would definitely recommend it.

Winter and Reed sit next to each other on a flight, and the sparks are flying. She doesn't want to get involved with anyone. She's busy with vet school, and doesn't have a good track record with men. Reed's beginning a new job as a surgeon at the local hospital. He's very into Winter, and would like much more than her friendship, but he's enough of a gentleman to back off until she's ready to move forward. She's in a bind money-wise, and moves into Reed's huge house "as roommates". When the drama with her best friend's ex-boyfriend comes to a head, Reed is there to help her out - he makes a huge personal sacrifice to keep her safe. And they head toward their HEA. I loved this book - the characters were well-developed, and had great chemistry. First read from this author, but not the last.

Winter is a small town girl struggling to survive between college classes, bills piling up and the fear of heartbreak. She "falls" for a stranger she runs into at the airport.

Reed is a fun loving heart doctor tired of the big city life and the game of the women, moves to a small town. He "catches" a women who not only can love but can see as a partner in life.

I love that Reed knowing Winter is the one and is willing to let her go through her struggles on her own, but while being there supporting and protecting her along the way. Even facing the dangers of a crazy stalker, he does what he can to keep her safe.

This is a great story, that makes you fall in love over and over.

I leave the review voluntary as part of an ARC.

This story was a little slow, but then we started to see some sparks. Reed and Winter meet by accident and keep running into each other is it fate? Winter is a struggling college student, trying to make ends meet. Reed is a doctor with more money than he needs, but a sweet heart. Winter has a hard time trusting men, with good reason. Reed wants nothing more than for Winter to trust him. Can Reed get Winter? Can Reed save her from another guy? Can Winter ever trust men? Can she ever be safe from her girlfriends ex? What will happen?

This is a love story that starts out with a mistake. Winter is heading back home after visiting her mother. When she gets to the airport at checkin she is told her flight is overbooked and they will upgrade her to first class on later flight at no extra cost. She goes to the duty free shops and nearly falls but is caught at the last minute by Reed. He then pays for her snacks. Winter starts to fall asleep and when they announce the last call for the flight she finds she is at the opposite side of the airport and just makes it as they are closing the doors. On the plane Reed goes to sit in the next seat to Winter. Reed offers her a room in his house when Winter starts to struggle to pay her rent and bills. That is the start of the rocky romance. I’m not going to spoil the rest only to say it is worth the read. I received this ARC for an honest review which I have given this is a must read.

I loved this story. This is my first story by Nikki Bloom that I’ve read even though I’ve been wanting to read them. I totally loved it and am sad I didn’t pick up her books before. Now I’ll be reading the others. Reed and Winter’s relationship happened so organically and it didn’t feel forced, I was invested from the beginning. Fate had plans for them and I’m glad they went with their feelings, especially Winter. She tried to push Reed away but their chemistry and connection was just too explosive. Love that there was an epilogue too so you get a glimpse of them in the future.

Winter is going home after being in Florida with her mom. She is at the airport when she bumps into a handsome man, Reed. They flirt with each other after Winter trips into Reed. Later Winters airplane is overbooked so they moved her to first class but she had to wait a few hours. Winter boards her plane and who sits next to her but Reed. They continue their flirting and really enjoy each other. This is when the book really takes off. You will laugh, cry, get mad and get a little hot under the collar. I really enjoyed reading this book.

I enjoyed this book and found that once I started reading, it was ard to put down. Winter and Reed met by fate at the airport and they seemed destined for each other. He's a celebrated heart surgeon who wanted a quieter life so he's just relocated to her small town in Maine. The chemistry is there but also the danger. Some mafia action, a life-threatening shellfish allergy, some surprises, and plenty of drama to keep things interesting. A HEA and no cliffhanger. A good read that I read as an arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review.

This is another great book by Nikki Bloom. Nikki writes characters that are amazing individually and seem to become stronger throughout the story. The characters in this book are no exception. They have amazing chemistry together. You find yourself going through the same emotions as the characters. You find yourself rooting for the characters. The story grabs your attention at the beginning and keeps it throughout the book. The story flows smoothly. This is a great read.

I enjoyed this quick read. Yes, there are editing errors, but the story itself was good. I could have read more on this couple. The chemistry between the characters is amazing. I really liked that the humor, I found myself giggling quite a bit. I found it refreshing to read from Reed's point of view. I will definitely read more books from this author. I would have given more stars if it had less errors. Great book to read at the beach or the pool.

I really loved this story! The author allows us to walk along watching a love story bloom in Winter and Reed’s life.
We are given the chance to follow Winter as fate introduces her to Reed. We get to watch as love slowly, with some angst, some steam, and some time, takes hold of this couple and shows them that true love is a very real thing. Lots of twists and turns along the way. A few laughs, some good times, some bad times, and a dog named Timber. All of that makes for a very, very great—not just good—but great, story. Good job – again—Nikki Bloom.

Winter meets Reed by chance at an airport. At the time they don’t realise they are heading for the same destination. Reed is a doctor taking up a new post where Winter lives. He is so hot and the chemistry between them sizzles from the start. However, Winter resists as a relationship while she continues her vet studies. Add to that the complication of being stalked by her best friends ex and this makes for an exciting and steamy read. Read an ARC for an honest review.

This book is a highly entertaining and enjoyable romance. The characters were very well developed and engaging. Reed and Winter’s chemistry was hot and heavy and the intimate scenes were breathtaking and sensual. The storyline itself was solid - full of drama, a touch of humour and, of course, heartwarming romance. Add in some scary, heart-stopping suspense and you have a book that was impossible to put down. Fantastic read!

An engaging, and heartfelt tale of love at first sight

Winter, veterinary student, runs into Reed, a heart surgeon, in the airport on her way back to Maine. As the story progresses fate intervenes, danger makes an appearance, and changing focus could result in a HEA. Nikki Bloom provided a thrilling, engaging, and heartfelt tale of love at first sight and the role that fate may play in our lives.

WOW! Miss Bloom you have DONE it again!
This story grabbed my heart and just wouldn't let go!
I love what you did with WInter and all her trials that she has gone through and the BUMP and CHAT that started it ALL! Your writing is beautiful and with a sizzle that many authors have a hard time relaying in their stories. Yours Definately DON'T have that problem. I enjoyed this story so much it will be on my reread list for the future and I know I will be recommending this story to everyone i know.

A love story about an accidental meeting between Winter and Reed at an airport that turns into true love. The characters in this book were well rounded and the plot was engaging, while the sub plot was an added bonus. The romance was strong and the heat was steamy. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading many more by Ms. Bloom.

Dreamboat Doctor

Her name may have you think of cold freezing images but Winter's story is hot! Reed's the perfect guy -- too good to be true! The perfect romance with everything falling into place for a HEA BUT there's a dangerous threat directed at both of them! It sends chills up your spine, wondering where the danger is lurking ... ready to pounce on them. A must-read to find out the deets!

Who would think her mum technically made everything happen
From her massive bear hug, beautiful things are formed
Now if she can survive Iris's crazy driving and her even more crazy ex, she can survive anything, right?
I enjoyed this book. The way that Reed just so happens to be a night in sparkling shiny armour and a nice guy to boot, makes me smile. Nice guys do sometimes come first.
I loved Timber, but then again who wouldn't. X
