This is a series by Denise Grover Swank, and my belief is, it is one of her best yet. Denise is a master at creating characters that you either want to love and hug or just plain slap. You fall for every emotion whilst reading her books and this one especially. Some tender moments between a mother and daughter is touching.
There are a couple of central characters, but the main one being Magnolia Steele, a twenty-eighty year old woman returning home after fleeing ten years earlier. She just made her debut lead role on Broadway, in spectacular fashion, and runs to the only place she can, her Momma's. But her nightmare's are starting to feel all too real. Things happened ten years ago, that Magnolia can not remember but being back home is slowly bringing it all to light. And not everyone is happy to see that Magnolia has reappeared, one of them being her brother.
I love the way that Denise can have a serious issue of murder but add enough humor into her writing that you will be giggling at times. Of course, you will feel for Magnolia on her quest to find the truth and to clear her name.
By buying this boxset, you have the luxury of being able to binge read the four books one after the other. And I know you will be compelled to do so, as you will be grabbed from the first chapter and needing to know all about Magnolia and her nightmares. Enjoyed every one of these books, and wish there was more.

Magnolia Steele is an amazing series by Denise Grover Swank. I’ve read this whole series and absolutely love it. From the very first book, to the very last one, you are hooked.
Magnolia left her home and has now returned years later. She starts to remember why she had ran away, she blocked that out all those years ago. Now she has to face the nightmares to try and figure out what happened on that horrible night.
If you’re looking for a new series this is it. It’s got everything you could ask for in a mystery series and you won’t want to put the book down.

An absolute must read series now all in one box set.
Magnolia Steele is AMAZING, no seriously she is gutsy, determined strong willed, southern stubborn and I just LOVE her.
Magnolia's life is basically one big mystery, embroiled in a butt load of southern charm and a barrel full of drama, what more could you ask for in an amazing mystery series, I couldn't put these books down and I have re-read then multiple times.

Love Magnolia. Tv star coming home and dealing with the drama of a small town. She gets talked into making a detective show. But gets a whole lot more than she bargained for. From an old love to real mysteries to solves Magnolia is a great read.

Center Stage (Magnolia Steele Mystery #1)
my new favourite book character from Denise Grover Swank, I thought that Rose couldn't be topped but wow! I was wrong. Magnolia has entered into Franklin back to her roots and not by choice and is now having to face people she hasn't seen in 10yrs and being brave enough to deal with the backlash but also dealing with new people who might be her friend. as usual I am left waiting for more as it finished too soon X
Act Two (Magnolia Steele Mystery #2)
I knew when I started to read this I would be left with more questions than answers at the end, I have fallen in love with Magnolia and the life she finds herself in.
This seriesis a perfect follow on for those who also loved Rose Gardner and her gang, if you liked that series then you are definitely going to love Maggie.
Magnolia continues on her quest to find answers about her fathers disappearance but the more she asks the more trouble heads her way. Colt is still a mysterious friend that I am not sure can be trusted and had yet to prove me otherwise!
Call Back (Magnolia Steele Mystery #3)
I loved catching up with Magnolia and her life, the storyline picked up quickly and I was able to remember what had been previously happening in the last installment. I knew that this is a four part story so I wasn't expecting to find out the answers I was anxiously waiting for in terms of her love life and the major plotline running through about the murders and the mystery of her Father.
I wish Magnolia would settle with Brady but I can see the allure that Colt brings...

Magnolia Steele series is a must-read for anyone who loves to read cozy mysteries!
Center Stage centers around Magnolia Steele, a southern belle transport living in NYC trying to make her dreams come true. However, not all goes as plan during her Broadway debut and she is forced back to her hometown that she run away from 10 years prior.
Center Stage: 4 Stars - I loved this new world Denise introduce us to. Magnolia is not someone to be messed with. While she has troubles, she refuses to go down without a fight. I think she's my new book hero. All the major players are keeping their own secrets and you don't know who to trust.
Act Two: 4.5 Stars - The book keeps you on your toes and as you get know all the major players you start to realize you might not be able to trust everyone. It seems everyone has some agenda and you are not entirely sure they have Magnolia's best interest in mind.
Call Back: 3.5 Stars - when Magnolia starts to tear down the walls, the bodies start to pile up.
what I love about Magnolia is that she is a strong woman, who is not backing down from a challenge anymore. She may have spent 10 years of her life running, but no more. Regardless of the cost, she will find out what happened to her father and who is stalking her.
Curtain Call: 4 Stars - In this final book Magnolia doesn't know who to trust. Everyone has lied to her and betrayed her but with her father on the loose and Killer on the hunt, Magnolia doesn't have time play games. She has to learn to trust her new instincts if she is going to survive this game of cat and mouse.

Where to even start? Magnolia Steele Mystery is beyond amazing series by Denise Grover Swank. It's the one of the best series! I've read a whole series and it was impossible to put it down! I was hooked from the very beginning to the last page of the last book. I love Maggie and her friends and already miss them, they became my friends too.
"Some things are better left in the past" - this phrase's been told to Maggie so many times too many for her liking but the uncovered and unsolved things in the past are torturing her present life so Maggie is determined to make it right and clear her name. Don't.Trust.No one! That's the motto!
The storyline is developed beautifully and keeps you on the edge of your seat. There is everything a mystery needs to be. Denise adds quite a few funny moments that makes you laugh too. So I went through all kinds of emotions while reading this amazing series.
If you're looking for something new, this is it! Besides you're lucky to get whole series in one set which is great! You're going to be hooked and love Maggies story!

Maggie’s story is the perfect choice for your next read! I read all four books in the Magnolia Steele Mystery Series when they first came out and loved them all. How exciting that they are now offered as a box set!
Denise Grover Swank has created another world filled with characters that I absolutely love. Poor Magnolia has been through an awful lot in her 28 years but she is a strong young woman and can get through it! Maggie left her hometown years ago after a horrible experience when she was a teenager and vowed to never return. She leaves to go into acting but her Broadway dreams have been less than dreamy. She comes home to her Momma just to have her world turned upside down again and again. She is thrust into a murder investigation and trouble ensues. People return from her past that she’d have rather kept in her past. There is love, there are tears, there is laughter, there is heart….and then there is Colt!!
As I read the series, I thought that each book was better than the last. The series as a whole has a ton to offer and is a must read!

I absolutely love Magnolia Steele! This series is so good, I devoured all 4 books within a month. Magnolia is such a strong and confident female character. She leaves her hometown after her high school graduation party and doesn't return till years later (after an embarrassing situation). Once she is back home, things from her past start to resurface and she decides to face them head on. This series is one of my top favorites and I am constantly recommending this to all I encounter. Maggie learns that it is hard to trust those around her, old and new friends. There is a lot of mystery, suspense, and some romance as well. The last book, Curtain Call, answers so many questions and still leaves a few unanswered; which we hope will be answered eventually.
If you have not already picked up these books individually like I have, this set is perfect. Each book in one spot and no waiting. Happy Reading!

I originally read each of these as separate books, but you can snag them all in one set!
In Center Stage we meet Magnolia, whose return home is filled with mystery. From a dead body, to a missing father and a decade old mysterious event that caused Maggie to suddenly leave her hometown and not look back. In this book the mother-daughter struggle between Magnolia and her mom stands out as true to life. Denise Grover Swank writes relationship so well!
The mystery continues in Act Two. The suspense builds as Magnolia starts to dig into her fathers mysterious disappearance. Once again Magnolia stumbles across a dead body. She has two men helping her, but who can she trust?
Call Back is just as intriguing as the previous books. I couldn't put it down. With each person Maggie speaks with she learns more about the mystery surrounding her fathers disappearance. She also is coming to grips with the fact that there is a killer out there and she witnessed one of the murders. The more answers she finds, the more questions that arise. Denise Grover Swank knows how to keep the reader guessing along with Maggie, who can she trust?
Curtain Call was the final installment, and I could not put it down. I literally read it in one afternoon! Magnolia Steele is a fierce and feisty woman that readers can relate to. As she seeks to uncover the truths from her past she begins to find her place in the present. This story took so many twists and turns, leading to a surprising and satisfying ending.

The Magnolia Steele series is amazing. Magnolia Steele is a strong woman and great lead character. I enjoyed her in each book. There are so many other wonderful characters but who can she trust....NO ONE!?!? Franklin, TN makes a perfect setting for this series, also.
Each book is action packed and full of mystery. I was left guessing throughout the entire series: who should she trust, who is the bad guy, who are working together, is she safe with this person, is what she has taken as fact truly fact? It is so great to have all four books bundled together. At the end of each book, I had to immediately go to the next book to find answers and see what more was in store for Magnolia.
Each book is action packed and full of mystery. I was left guessing throughout the entire series: who should she trust, who is the bad guy, who are working together, is she safe with this person, is what she has taken as fact truly fact? I read each of Magnolia’s novels when they were out individually, so this book set is such a great deal! You can jump from one book right into the next, which is perfect because you’re going to want to fly through them. Denise does such a great job intertwining mystery, suspense, so many questions, and romance into Magnolia’s series and I couldn’t put it down. The entire series I was wondering who I could trust, what really happened to Magnolia in her past, and how everything was going to pan out. Lots of twists and turns makes for one wild ride! Jump on this box set now and enjoy your trip through Magnolia’s world!

I love Magnolia! "Trust no one" are definitely words to live by when your life makes absolutely no sense. Each book escalates and keeps you guessing. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, plot twist, and you’re back at square one. It’s a suspenseful mystery that will still give you a few laughs and some action to keep you on your toes. Yet another great series to sink your teeth into. Get this series and hold on because Denise Grover Swank will take you on a thrilling ride that will have you wondering what, when, how, why, and STILL leave you with questions! It was gripping, suspenseful, heartfelt, edge of your seat, can’t put it down, what in the actual hell just happened good! I flew right through them because I could not put them down. I honestly don't know why I'm surprised that Denise has done it yet again. The woman is a literary genius.

I’m so excited that this amazing series is now available as a box set. As always with Denise's books, the characters are well developed, the story intriguing and mysterious, yet full of wit and humor. You are pulled into the story and feel like you are one of the characters alongside Magnolia “Maggie”.
Maggie grows throughout the series but remains strong and made of "steele", even when the answers she gets should destroy her. Just when I thought I had possibly figured something out, it twisted and turned. At one point I wasn't trusting anyone, questioning every little thing they said or did. Don’t wait, get it today! Just be prepared to get nothing else done or no sleep once you start, you won’t want to put it down.

Magnolia goes home after disastrous broadway show opening. But what’s waiting from her past might be worse..... Can you protect yourself from someone you don’t remember? This series is suspenseful, thrilling, and you will so happy that you have 4 books in one because you won’t want to put it down. I absolutely love Magnolia and many of other characters. I won’t tell you about them. I’ll only say trust no one! I dare you to try to solve this mystery before the end of the books.

If you haven't already read Denise Grover Swank's Magnolia Steele Mystery series, now is this time! These books are absolutely amazing, and one of my favorite series by this author. This box set contains four full length books, and is now sold in a bundle for only $9.99. This is an amazing value for such great books that you can now binge read back to back. I've read all of them individually, and highly recommend buying this set if you love Denise's books, or just a wonderful mystery series with added suspense and a little romance!

A standing ovation for Miss Maggie!!
I was already excited to read this series because mystery is my favorite genre but I had no idea it would be this phenomenal! Even during Center Stage I knew I’d love the series. That’s when you start seeing the insanely amazing amount of details in the story and if you’re like me, you’ll try to start piecing the story together to try to figure out the mystery in the past, but it is pretty unpredictable in parts and I just couldn’t figure it out. I absolutely love a book that catches me off guard and keeps me on my toes and this whole series did that for sure. Magnolia hasn’t always been my favorite character but this series is one of my favorites because the mystery is just that amazing, the writing is sooo good, and the conclusion of the Curtain Call solidified my belief. This is a fantastic series for anyone who likes mystery books. It really will not disappoint. A standing ovation to the Magnolia Steele series!!

If you haven't already read the Magnolia Steele Mystery series, this is your chance! I love this series! It's such an amazing mystery series with a side of romance. Magnolia is a great character and these books are so entertaining! This box set is a great value! And you can just binge read right on through. What better way to read the Magnolia Steele series than in a box set! Such an amazing mystery! I have read each of the stories and loved every one! Magnolia had to come home and face her past. There were twists and turns throughout and I didn’t know who I could trust or who Magnolia should trust. I definitely recommend the series! Denise Grover Swank does not disappoint with Magnolia’s story!

Although she feels defeated, this is where her story begins - putting her past to rest, finding answers that have eluded her since she fled town the night of her high school graduation party, and ultimately finding who she really is.
As a story, these books are full of mystery, suspense, and intrigue, with a little romance thrown in for good measure. This was truly one of my favorite series and I highly recommend the box set - you won’t be disappointed.

Box sets and collections are the way to go! I wish more authors did box sets! While this series doesn't (currently) have any novellas, box sets help keep you in line as to what comes next in a series. This four book box set will help make sure you are getting everything you need and more, with keeping you in the proper order!
The Magnolia Steele Mystery Series is a fantastic mystery series. The story line wasn't left on a cliffhanger, but was left somewhat open ended that there could be more books published. The Magnolia Steele Mystery Series is a fantastic mystery series. The story line wasn't left on a cliffhanger, but was left somewhat open ended that there could be more books published. Scary
This series has a lot of twists and turns with some seriously messed up people. I usually can easily separate the good guys from the bad ones, but this is a complex series that I will not soon forget. I read it straight through in 3 days. I am always annoyed when characters "apologize for a rainy dau" and have never been able to determine if that is a sort of ultimate narcissism or not. I don't understand the "it is all my fault he or she was killed by the crary person". It seems to be a theme in a lot of current novels today. Sigh. Oddly, it is usually the women taking on that burden, not the men. That is the only flaw I see in these novels. Just don't start them at night unless you can sleep in the next morning!

I really love these boxed sets. You don't have to wait for the next installment! Denise Grover Swank is a master at mysteries and leading ladies. I fell in love with Magnolia right away. She is spunky, brave, fiesty and of course finds herself in the middle of several mysteries all the while dealing with returning home to Franklin, TN after her Broadway disaster. Coming home also means dealing with her mom and their complicated relationship. And of course there are some hunky men thrown into the mix further confusing Magnolia. Who can she trust? Many questions remain and I hope this series continues and we get more of Magnolia Steele!

Trust no one! This series kept me turning pages from page one until done! Magnolia doesn't remember the events of one night that changed her life. As the series progresses we learn more about her history and memories start to come back. This series features a tough heroine, killer mystery, love triangle, tons of family drama, and true to Denise some great comedy. Did I mention that you can't trust anyone in this series? Everyone has a story and a past and Magnolia doesn't know who is telling the truth. Its a must read series!

I’m so happy this is now in a boxed set! I had to wait for each individual book to come out, torture! Magnolia is back in her hometown facing an old secret and stumbling into an intricate web of lies, secrets, and one massive mystery! In true Denise Grover Swank style, these characters are amazing. Each book builds on the mystery and give you more insight into Magnolia and all the other characters. Lots of twists and turns, leave you guessing, while sitting on the edge of your seat. With all her normal style, you will laugh, cry, and most importantly be thrilled by the amazing plot twists!

New alliances, new betrayals, more suspense!
Pieces of the puzzle are fitting together more closely with each book but every page is still a new twist and turn.
Magnolia is crazy, smart, funny, strong, and a lot of crazy. She has grown a lot in this series and turned into a sure Spitfire. The stuff she says and does, completely shocking people. Loved it!
This series blew my mind with everything finally coming to a close over the course of 4 books. Was a wild intense ride. A unique suspense series that you will not be disappointed with.

Fantastic !!
Wow wow wow !!! Magnolia Steele is an amazing character !! I was hooked by her story from beginning to end !! Each book had new twists and turns that had me guessing and gasping in shock !! Literally couldn’t put the series down I just had to know all the answers to all the questions !! If you live a mystery with loads of complex characters that you will either fall in love with this is the series for you !! If you love a story that keeps you guessing this is the series for you !! Honestly loved this I’m sad I’ve finished !!
