I came across this book when searching for a definition of "golden hands" in the bench scientist context, and found a "google books" excerpt including a fascinating case study of a researcher who had used outright fraud to achieve desired results. I must have made some mistake however as the copy of the book I ultimately received includes no such case study and I have since been unable to replicate the results of my search.
Regardless, the book is reasonably interesting, if rather dry. It's clearly meant as a text for academic study & discussion and as such is more abstract rather than anecdotal. On the other hand, the writing style (allowing for per-author variance) is relatively straightforward and understandable compared to what you might expect from such a book.
