This graphic novel is three short stories that are about three very different eras in the long life of the beautiful, brutal, immortal, Ilya.

The writing is excellent and I especially enjoyed how complex Ilya is. In each tale, both her compassion and raw brutality are evident.

Definitely left me wanting to read an entire novel about her life!
