Love candles? Want to start making your own? Make a small business out of it?
Barbara Gammage’s “Candle-Making” will certainly help you get started!
I want to make a few candles after reading this inspiring book. Candles will be easier for you after taking the steps you’ll learn from this book.
Topics include:
-How to make your own candles (lol duh)
-Types of candles
-Types of wicks
-Using essential oils and fragrances
-Candle-making history (Did you know the first candles were made of sheep meat?)
CONCLUSION
I highly recommend this candle book. It’s a great guide for eager beginners. After making your candles, you don’t have to worry about spending your precious money at Yankee Candles anymore.
My only complaint about this book is the lack of pictures. Otherwise, this book is a DIY treasure.

Informative
Wow, who would have thought that so much work would go into making candles. I've never really thought about it before .but after reading this book I realise that it's a really interesting hobby to take up . There are so many choices to choose from . They would make ideal gifts for family &Friends , a nice personal touch. A great book ,I really enjoyed reading it .

When I was a child I made candles. I was surprised at the changes for making candles. I believe I shall attempt to make some candles. Will stick with basic molds.
Since beeswax is getting harder to find will use paraffin. And stay with basic scents. And the same for colors.
