Without a doubt, the authors are extremely knowledgeable and highly academic and the book was truly an attempt to be as holistic as possible regarding management. However, in my humble subjective opinion management is more art than science. I was looking for a book that is applicable or that helps me hone my management skills for this purpose I can't recommend it. I would recommend it more to people interested in pursuing an academic career in management rather than practitioners.
