This review covers books 4, 5 and 6 as the author has turned them into a boxset. The saga continues with Bridget and Jason. I found the next 3 books troublesome as I just wasn’t compelled to keep reading so it became a burden to get through and that was unfortunate. There are too many errors, both typos and continuity and factual errors. I really hoped once I got to the end of the first story, even though it’s a very slow burn, that the enjoyment would take mAnd it would be an easy read, but unfortunately it didn’t happen. Maybe it’s just me, but I had trouble getting through this read and the next several.

I am a little annoyed with this serie. For me, there is just to much religios "babbling" going on. I admit that I just swipe thought those pages without reading, and so far it doesn't seam like I am missing anything impornent that regards the storyline. So I find the whole thing to be unnecessary "noise"
Also, I kind of wish this Susan person could just be written off.. She I so God damn infuriating that I wish someone could push her in front of a bus..

This is book six in The Philistine Heart Series. I feel like I am on the roller coaster, strapped in and save but hanging on for dear life. The ride is creeping up to the top of the mountain in the tracks. Hang on, as this book will take you racing down the tracks to the valley but how far back up the tracks will you get? Bridgett and Jason's story continues. Now, not so patiently waiting for book seven. Enjoy!

This series has taken on a life of it's own.
Reading this book in particular, is driving me to kick everyone out of the house and starting all over. ( not really wanting to start over with the little's).
But, this entire series is making my head swoon and my heart beat out of my chest with every turn of the page.

Bring on Book 7.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength happiness and love. The story of sensational feelings that can run through the body while reading. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

We learn a little more of the twists and turns the author has laid out for us. I’m still impatient to know more. I truly love her descriptions of places and the characters feelings. Still not a fan of Susan. And Jason, he needs a throat punch!

I wish Bridget was stronger mentally but then again what she went though I never have.

I am eagerly awaiting book 7. I need to know more!

Surrender is Jean Evergreen’s sixth book in her Philistine Heart series and continues Bridget and Jason’s story. I don’t want to spoil this book so I will just say there is a major storyline change in this book. I recommend Surrender as it is an intense and emotional read with a twist I did not see coming! The story continues in the seventh series installment entitled Fallacy.

Bridget and Jason is are odd because she disappears and he can't find her, then he identifies her body at the morgue and his life is falling apart around him he has no light in his life without her. She is the one that kept him grounded.

This series did not start well for me but I have grown to look e it. The characters are complex and continue to grow with the story line. The story line is evolving and has me salivating for the next chapters. I cannot wait to read the next book.

I haven't found a series so riveting since Alethea Romig's Consequences Series. I couldn't put this book down since page 1. It was soooo good. I literally cannot wait for book 7.

Times almost up!

So torn over this book. Such a rollercoaster of emotions, many of them dark.
I agree this series has a lot of unresolved issues but the author should wrap up the story soon. It's hard to see a positive outcome down the road.

This is number six out of a seven book series. The author has done a tremendous job with this series, it held my interest from book one and I am now eagerly awaiting book seven. Book six continues with some twists and turns I didn’t see coming, it had me on the edge of my seat at times. It’s a definite page-turner.

Up to $15.00 wasted!

I thoroughly enjoyed the 1st 3 books. After that....not so much!
The entire story line changes! Not at all the direction the first 3 books were heading. Was like reading entire different story waiting for it to turn back. Super disappointed.
